Triad’s Distributed Audio Series 3 in-ceiling and in-wall speakers are engineered for music enthusiasts who are looking for exceptional sound in every room. The series utilizes woven carbon-fiber woofers for superior bass response and durability. A one-inch silk dome tweeter offers smooth, high-frequency sound and is aimable to offer greater installation flexibility.
The Distributed Audio Series 3 speakers are voice / timbre matched to the other in the series—allowing homeowners to choose the right size of speaker for each room while delivering identical tonal qualities throughout the home.
The Triad IC83DT incorporates dual tweeters and a woofer with dual voice coils into a single speaker design, making it the perfect choice for delivering stereo sound into smaller rooms.
Distributed Audio Series 3 in-ceiling speakers ship with white, round, frameless grills that are low profile and look great. In-wall speakers ship with white, rectangular, frameless grills. The grill attaches to the speaker via hidden neodymium magnets embedded in the speaker baffle for fast installation and a snug custom finished fit. Custom paint-matched round or square grills are available separately and painted at the factory for a perfect finish that blends seamlessly with any interior design.
Pivoting tweeter
With up to 10 degrees of movement, the pivoting tweeter delivers high-quality audio to the listener’s position and offers flexible installation options.
Voice matched
All Distributed Audio Series 3 speakers are voice matched—allowing homeowners to mix and match speakers within the series to meet the needs of each room, while providing identical tonal qualities throughout the home.
Easy install
Using a tried-and-tested traditional Triad mounting system with reinforced threaded brass inserts, Distributed Audio Series speakers install in seconds and will stay snug to the mounting surface for the life of the system.
High-quality spring clamps make connecting speaker wires simple and quick, while the magnetic frameless grill fits flush to the mounting surface with ease.
Poly-mica woofer
Mica-infused polypropylene offers a strengthened cone material with increased rigidity and a high stiffness-to-weight ratio—while still maintaining the dampening properties of a traditional polypropylene woofer.
Magnetic mounting
Low-profile frameless grills attach to the speaker with hidden neodymium magnets for fast installation and a snug fit.
